Lā Ku‘o Ko‘a is celebrated as the day that Hawai‘i was returned from British Rule. It was celebrated in Thomas square as it was Admiral Thomas who brought the order from the Queen of England herself. In the park there is dancing, music, discussion, and Ku‘i ‘Ai, Kalo pounding. Everyone can try!
